ABOUT US
MHW is the leading PR consultancy in North East England. Highly experienced, we work for a wide range of clients in the public and private sectors.
We bring hard work and clarity to communication, developing powerful messages that resonate with audiences and influence their behaviour.
Established in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2000, MHW has achieved consistent growth and annual sales of more than £1m by putting its experience and philosophy into practice. We work closely with clients developing long-term relationships.
We are here to give ‘added value' to clients. We build our own reputation by protecting and enhancing the reputations of others. As consultants, we recognise that our role is to challenge ideas and perceptions; to offer opinions while not being opinionated. We bring experience, contacts and insight to help clients achieve their objectives.
All the while, we recognise that our ultimate focus is action, delivering results and giving clients a return on their investment.
We understand that PR is more than the mere generation of publicity. It's about engaging with people, using a wide array of tools to inform and influence opinion. While media relations remains a core activity it is usually only one element of a broader integrated communications campaign.
Today, MHW - established by three experienced communications directors, Alasdair Mitchell, Wayne Halton and Ian Watson - is managing a portfolio of regional, national and international clients, undertaking PR activities in the UK, USA and continental Europe.
