Global hotel brand Crowne Plaza turned to PR consultancy MHW PR when it needed help during the pre-opening period of its new hotel in Newcastle's Stephenson Quarter.
Set to open in July 2015, the 7-storey hotel - being built and developed by Clouston Group - will be the city's most luxurious venue when complete.
MHW PR is responsible for helping build interest and also support the overall sales and marketing effort which properly got underway in February when bookings started to be taken For Crowne Plaza Newcastle.
The campaign, led by PR director Wayne Halton and supported by colleague Paula Stei, features media relations, sponsorship, social media activity along with direct stakeholder engagement. The team is working directly with general manager Andrew Fox.
