The spectacular Fashion Match combined fashion, sport, food and the spirit of giving.
The glitzy event, featuring a champagne dinner, celebrity catwalk and world-class entertainment raised more than £280,000 gross for three charities - Marie Curie, The Children's Heart Unit (CHUF) and the Chefs Adopt a School Charity.
Involving football, rugby and cricket stars along with stars of the screen, Fashion Match took place at Newcastle Falcons, Kingston Park on March 22 2013.
Some 650 guests were entertained by comedian and event host Bobby Davro with music from former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley and his 12-piece band.
The food was given the celebrity treatment with a nationally renowned line-up led by Terry Laybourne of 21 Hospitality Group and featuring chefs from around the UK.
Fashion Match was planned and led by leading businessmen Graham Wylie, owner of Close House and TSG, along with Ian Watson, chairman of Hadrian Healthcare.
MHW was responsible for managing a Twitter account and a blog website on behalf of Fashion Match; we also worked alongside Claire Barbour PR managing more conventional media relations.
