Pyeroy celebrates 40th anniversary

Book celebrates industrial success

03 July 2013

Industrial services group Pyeroy was celebrating 40 years of success during 2013.

To mark the occasion Pyeroy asked MHW to produce a celebratory book reflecting the scope of business and some of the prestigious contracts the group has worked on.

Working with design consultancy Room8Design, PR director Ian Watson spent days researching some of the projects and collating information and images of work from around the UK. Some of the images were given a special graphical treatment to reveal the years of operation.

The Tyneside company's origins lie in the supply of painting servicesd for ships in the North East shipyards. The marine connection has been maintained and extended throughout a 40 year history. Pyeroy has expanded its range of services - employing around 1,800 at eight UK locations, into scaffold and access systems, insulation, asbestos remediation and fire protection.

In July 2013 Pyeroy confirmed it had been acquired by international energy services outfit, Wood Group.
