Media relations campaigns remain a core part of what we do for most of our clients. We're often defined by the success of a campaign that relies on reaching key stakeholders via online, traditional and technical media.

We employ media experts with a strong media background and knowledge. We keep abreast of the shifting landscape, where the media continues to change. This has never been more so than in the last few years with the emergence of social media platforms, the growth of niche printed magazines, new broadcast stations, along with the continued collapse of the UK's regional press.

Ultimately, they're all channels to market. Platforms on which to tell stories and develop a powerful, consistent narrative for our clients.

The media can be very localised - radio or press. Likewise, it might be very industry specific and here we usually turn to the national, sometimes international, specialist and technical media. It may involve engaging with the new army of sector-specific bloggers.

Our role is proactive. We can provide the reactive press office function but most of our energy goes into finding media opportunities, crafting copy and 'selling in' story ideas to questioning journalists to secure media coverage.

We offer media coaching days for marketing executives as well as more focussed, intense media training exercises for senior personnel who need to face the media and potentially field difficult issues.
