A diverse range of PR activity has been at the heart of Gateshead College's strategic marketing work.
MHW has, for many years, been reaching out via traditional and digital platforms to inform and engage young people, parents, employers, opinion formers and other stakeholders.
More recently, a key focus has been highlighting the work the college does in making sure young people are 'fit for work' and have an 'employability edge'. Our work demonstrates how Gateshead College is embedding an enterprising culture within the curriculum; along with the effective partnership work with influential business and industry bodies like the CBI, North East Chamber of Commerce and the Entrrpreneur's Forum.
MHW has been the drivng force behind a successful media relations campaign promoting student successes, employer case studies, considered comment and thought leadership contributions in influential business media and national specialist publications and platforms.
In 2014 we continue the challenge of promoting the college's role in a changing environment while highlighting how young people on Tyneside are being prepared for the world of work.
