We have a fairly unique and thorough understanding of the issues affecting the health sector, and particularly in addressing health challenges with campaigns that combine awareness with a call to action.
MHW has worked with a number of NHS trusts to develop high impact public health campaigns that addressed some of the most serious health issues affecting communities in North East England.
Our campaigns have promoted stop smoking services, publicised the benefits of breast feeding, warned against the over use of antibiotics, dealt with sexual health issues and explained the benefits of good diet.
In developing these programmes, our work brought us into contact with patient groups, local authorities, health and medical professionals, carers and voluntary organisations along with community representatives.
In all cases our integrated campaigns were designed to ensure that key messages were delivered with maximum impact and awareness. Many were also supported by pre and post campaign research so that their effectiveness could be accurately measured.
The creativity associated with these campaigns often prompted high levels of 'talkability' and examples of our work were highlighted in the national media and at NHS conferences as 'best practice' models for replication around the country.
