21 has been trading for more than 25 years and during that time has altered its name, won a Mitchelin, relocated within its home city and continued to delight customers and critics.
One constant during this period is chef and owner Terry Laybourne who moved away from 'fine dining' in the 90s to offer a more relaxed, bistro style of cooking and environment. He never diluted his commitment to great food, and great service all provided within a lovely environment. Terry was among the country's early advocates for using and promoting best quality, seasonal, locally sourced products.
MHW PR has been privileged to work alongside Terry and his 21 Hospitality Group of restaurants for more than 10 years. We have continued to promote Terry's ethos and the different personalities of his varied restaurants. Many awards have been scooped up along the way.
We have helped maintain the excellent reputation of his flagship restaurant brand, 21. Our role is quite modest and simple when compared to Terry and his team of skilled chefs and front of house who continue to deliver excellent food and service, day in, day out.
Elsewhere, we have helped launch and promote Terry's other restaurants - including modern Italian bistro Caffe Vivo, his pub The Broad Chare, along with Cafe 21 and Saltwater Fish Co at Fenwick.
